A different kind of Salsa
By Don Toivola
This is my Grandmothers recipe for a different kind of Salsa. It is mostly made up of tomato sauce and spices. But the outcome is a fantastic blend that will keep you wanting more! What you will need: 1 large Can of Tomatoe Sause 1 tablespoon Crushed Oregano 1 tablespoon Garlic Salt 1 tablespoon Black Pepper 1 tablespoon Crushed Red Pepper 1 tablespoon Cumin 3/4 can of Water Mix all ingredients in a blender and add more Oregano, Garlic Salt, Black Pepper, Crushed Red Pepper, or Cumin to get the desired taste. I find I usually end up adding more Oregano, Garlic Salt or Pepper depending on what I am going for. Enjoy! |
